Artistic Statement

I create performance and installation to stimulate body sensation and perception, challenging people’s notion of their private and public psychological space. Most of my work is charged with intense colours, complex combination of different materials and with a pitch of sour humour. Also, I collaborated with artist Bea Bonafini organizing sensorial dinners combining installation, performance, colour, taste and social behaviour. Recently, I have been experimenting with natural materials and environments, trying to re-connect with my intuition, places and others. As offering coloured natural juices with unique holistic qualities at exhibition Cornucopia, in London, or making masks and performances to communicate with other selves and beings, in Finland. All my works are born in her subjective and inner questions brought up on her daily life; throughout the process, they lose their personal approach to open up for more political and socially engaging actions. Because I am constantly rethinking my place as an artist, citizen and human being, I am constantly challenging myself trying different mediums and concepts.
